About the Medical Office Administration Program

The Medical Office Administration Diploma is an accelerated, full-time program of 840 total hours, completed in approximately six months. It prepares you to run the administrative side of a healthcare practice: patient intake and scheduling, medical records, billing and insurance, transcription and clinical office procedures in doctors’ offices, clinics, specialist practices, hospitals and other medical settings.

The program concludes with a 160-hour practicum placement, roughly one month of supervised workplace experience, so you graduate with both a diploma and time already spent inside a real healthcare office.

Flexible Learning. Practical Experience.

At Canadian Ultrasound Institute, courses are taught by experienced instructors and combine online classroom instruction with hands-on training. Coursework is delivered online, while practical skills training takes place in person at our Mississauga campus.

Our small-cohort model means instructors know every student by name, and start dates are available throughout the year. Practical training is held at our Mississauga campus at 10 Kingsbridge Garden Circle, minutes from Highways 401 and 403, with free on-site parking.
