Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Diagnostic medical sonography (D.M.S.), a branch of diagnostic clinical imaging, is the use of imaging by using medical ultrasound for medical diagnosis. D.M.S. uses non-ionizing ultrasound to produce 2D and 3D photographs of the body. In Canada, the credentialing for diagnostic scientific sonography is the Canadian
